Robotic solutions for tray loading and end of line packing.
FP Packaging Machinery have become a partner of ABB Robotics and are now able to offer automatic packing and loading systems involving robots. Typical applications include loading retail products into Returnable Plastic crates, crate denesting and re-stacking systems.
FP are able to offer production collation systems to match a wide range of products and will intergrate these with robots and a pick off head to form a complete loading station.
The design and manufacture of the robotic pick up heads will be carried out by FP using in house solid modelling CAD facilities. Once designed the models can be imported into ABB’s RobotStudio simulation program which will be able to check the cycle timings, help select the correct robot size to fit the application as well as allowing the robot program to be prepared in advance. FP will also design and manufacture product collation systems to match a wide range of products to complete the robotic loading cell.
FP already serves many blue chip companies in the bakery, ready meal, fresh produce and dairy areas and feels that this is a natural progression from their tray denesting and pick & place machinery manufacturing business.
