Established in 1970 Freeze Pack Machinery Ltd. commenced as a distributor of ice cream machinery, supplying entire manufacturing plants to small, medium and large ice cream manufacturers. The success of this company was followed in 1974 by FP Packaging Machinery Ltd. which was formed to distribute a wide range of packaging machinery primarily to the food industry.
In 1987 manufacturing and patent rights were purchased from T & B Engineering and production of the Pneufeed tray denester began at Guildford. Our manufacturing program has since expanded to include a range of leading edge pick & place machinery, a mechanical finger denester, tray/container restacker and Turnkey lines incorporating conveyor work with additional product and tray handling systems.
Recently FP have become a partner of ABB robotics and are now able to offer automatic packing and loading systems involving robots. FP already serves many blue chip companies in the bakery, ready meal, fresh produce and dairy areas and feels that this is a natural progression of their tray denesting and pick & place manufacturing business.
